Abstract: As a consequence of the main result of this paper efficient conditions guaranteeing the existence of at least one periodic solution to a second-order singular equation with indefinite weights. Our proof is based as Schauder’s fixed point theorem and the positivity of the associated Green function. Besides, the results are applicable to weak as well as strong singularities.

Key Words and Phrases: Schauder’s fixed point, indefinite weights, singular equation, periodic solution
