Abstract: The paper deals with the existence of positive solution to the system of nonlinear Hammerstein integral equations. The main tool used in the proof is Krasnosel’skiĭ–Guo fixed point theorem of compression-expansion cones. An application of specific cone enabled to achieve the results. Some examples are provided in order to illustrate the applicability of presented theorems.

Key Words and Phrases: Hammerstein integral equations, Guo-Krasnosel’skiĭ theorem in cone, positive solution, Green’s function
