You can reach Cluj-Napoca by plane via the Avram Iancu Cluj International Airport (CLJ). It is situated about 40 minutes by bus from the city center.
If you travel by train, we recommend checking the schedule with Deutsche Bahn. The train station is situated about 10 minutes by bus from the city center.
If you travel by car from Western Europe, take motorway M1 from Wien to Budapest, then European Route E60 for Budapest - Szolnok - Püspökladány - Ártánd/Bors (border crossing) - Oradea - Cluj-Napoca.
A taxi from the airport to the city center should be about 10 euros while a taxi from the train station to the city center should be less than 4 euros. However, there are also regular bus connections.
Notice that the time in Romania is UTC+3 during the summer.
The currency in Romania is RON.
