Abstract: In this paper, we first revise some results and proofs on θ-metric spaces. Next, we construct an explicit metric to metrize a given θ-metric that gives an affirmative answer to an open question on the metrization of $ heta$-metric spaces. After that, we use the obtained result to calculate such metric of known θ-metrics, and reprove a fixed point theorem in θ-metric spaces.
