Abstract: In this paper, we study some new fixed point results in the context of w-distance as well as on wt-distance by using α-admissible mappings. Our results enhance and generalize several well known results available in the literature. We present examples to support our new findings. As an application, we utilize our results to obtain a solution of a nonlinear integral equation.
