TRANSYLVANIA TeX CONFERENCE
Organisers:
The first Romanian National Conference on
TeX and related issues will be held at the Faculty of Mathematics
and Computer Sciences of the "Babes-Bolyai" University from
Cluj-Napoca, Romania, in 1-2 September 2007. The tentative list of
subjects to be discussed includes (but does not reduce to):
-
editing mathematical texts with TeX and LaTeX
-
problems related to typography in Romanian
-
graphics in TeX
-
teaching of LaTeX
We will also use this opportunity to initiate the first GROup
of Romanian TeX Users (GROTeX) and to launch the journal
TeXtemporal, a Romanian/English TeX journal that will be published by
our faculty.
There will be no participation fee. Those who would like to attend,
are kindly asked to contact the organisers before July 1st 2007. We can
provide accomodation at the University's hotel, at prices ranging from
25 Euro to 40 Euro.
